PG 2018

When Spring rolls around, only one thing is on the minds of high school seniors across the country: GRADUATION! As a rite of passage, graduation night is a night to be proud, to celebrate achievements, and to look forward to the future. Unfortunately, it historically has also been one of the most deadly nights for teens.

The name “Project Graduation” was coined more than twenty years ago by planners in Maine, after a particularly deadly graduation season took its toll. Maine’s first Project Graduation was such a success that high schools throughout the U.S. adopted similar programs and “Project Graduation” became a generic name for chemical-free graduation parties that celebrate safety.

Project Graduation is a FREE all night party on graduation night (TBD) with free food, DJ/dancing, Monte Carlo games, caricatures, laser tag, go-karts, bumper cars, miniature golf, arcade games, TONS OF PRIZES, and much, much more!

Prizes last year included bikes, TV, laptop, FORECASTLE tickets, microwaves, refrigerators, wireless speakers, ENO, gift cards, college gift baskets, dorm supplies and lot of other great stuff.

Because this is a free event, DONATIONS and VOLUNTEERS are vital. The cost of this event is over $18,000, in addition to prizes. ALL Manual parents are encouraged to donate; remember, your student(s) will be participating before you know it. All monies raised will help pay for the event, and all donations will be acknowledged in the Manual POST e-Newsletter.

Suggested donation levels (make checks payable to duPont Manual Project Graduation and mail to: duPont Manual Project Graduation PTSA, 120 W. Lee Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40208). Click here for form.
